Design Meets Circular Thinking
EveryOtherDay – Founded in 2020, EveryOtherDay is a design-driven company dedicated to creating sustainable, circular furniture and home accessories. As the founder and lead designer, I took on a wide range of roles, transforming myself into a versatile, interdisciplinary designer capable of meeting diverse challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.
I spearheaded product design, combining aesthetic innovation with functionality while ensuring all materials adhered to strict sustainable and circular principles. Using recycled and recyclable materials, I developed products that could seamlessly re-enter the production cycle after use. One highlight was the creation of minimalist key holders made from recycled materials, offering a sleek yet functional design that resonated with modern, eco-conscious consumers.
Crafting Circular Products with Purpose
My contributions extended beyond design to product development, guiding items from initial concept to full-scale production. I also worked extensively with 3D printing technology, leveraging its precision and adaptability to prototype and produce unique, customizable designs that aligned with our sustainability goals.
Additionally, I directed product photography, led art direction for brand visuals, and managed influencer collaborations to amplify brand reach. These experiences, combined with my hands-on work with 3D printing and circular product solutions, gave me a deep understanding of integrating design, marketing, and sustainable business practices. This equipped me to tackle complex, multifaceted projects with creativity and precision.
