Roomours is a Munich-based startup that designs and manufactures tools for collaborative workspaces, including flipcharts, whiteboards, pinboards, and monitor stands. The company places great emphasis on high-quality materials such as wood and metal, combining functionality with aesthetic design.
Many of the products feature precisely crafted sheet metal components, showcasing the team’s expertise in metalworking and fabrication. With a focus on local production in southern Germany, Roomours aims to deliver durable and well-designed solutions for modern workplaces.
From Sketch to Series
During my three years at Roomours, I played a key role in designing and developing the company’s products. My responsibilities included creating product concepts and prototypes, handling product photography and post-production to present the designs in their best light, and overseeing product development. I worked closely with the production team to ensure that designs were functional and ready for series production. A significant part of my work focused on refining and integrating sheet metal components, from initial design to final fabrication, ensuring precision and quality throughout the process.
Being part of a growing startup meant stepping into many roles beyond my primary responsibilities. At Roomours, I contributed wherever help was needed, whether it was brainstorming new ideas, supporting logistics, or assisting in marketing efforts. This dynamic environment offered me invaluable experience, teaching me to be adaptable and proactive while working towards shared goals in a highly collaborative team.
