the corporate context
The stool follows the principles of circular design: it can be completely dismantled and repaired and is made from high-quality, recyclable or recycled materials.
During production, attention is paid to the use of recycled materials in order to minimize the environmental impact. The timeless design combines aesthetics and functionality while promoting sustainability and longevity, and we are aware that the stool is not perfect in terms of sustainability, but that is not the point.
As the name suggests “STRV” (strive), we strive for the best possible solution that meets the requirements. Consumption is in most cases holistically sustainable and will always require resources. It is important to make conscious choices and weigh them up in order to keep the footprint as small as possible.

Selected Circular Design Rules
Circular design plays a central role on the path to a sustainable circular economy. The Institute of Design Research Vienna has developed the Circular Design Guidelines to provide stakeholders in the product development process with a simple set of rules for the design of circular products.
Selected circular design rules: 1. dismantlability 2. from recyclate 3. reduction 4. take-back 5. reparability 6. mono-materials 7. recyclability In the technical cycle
In our view, the positive properties outweigh the negative factors, which are mainly found in the production of aluminum. Aluminum is a material with a promising future that has not yet reached its full potential. We source the material from Europe and try to achieve a high recycling rate, which is why we have decided to use and process the material anyway.
